Job search

Search government jobs

Filter by category, state, and qualification. Always open the official notification before you apply.

Use search when you already know a board name, post keyword, or exam type. Type a short phrase such as a department, city, or post title, then tighten results with the filters on the left (category, state, qualification). Filters stack: a railway tag plus a state still only shows listings we tagged that way. Empty results usually mean we do not have a curated match yet, not that the board has stopped hiring.

Category filters map to how candidates browse: central-style ministry and commission work often sits under central hubs, while railway, banking, defence, and PSU have their own tracks. State filters help when a notice is tied to a location. Qualification filters look at education tiers we extracted from the advertisement. They are helpers, not a substitute for the official eligibility table.

After you shortlist a card, open the official notification before you register. Confirm last date, fee, and document rules on the board site. We do not process applications or collect exam fees on HowDoI India. If a filter combination feels too narrow, clear it and try a broader keyword, or jump to a category hub or state page for a curated list without search syntax.
