When you use our calculators or browse our guides, we do not collect personally identifiable financial information. All calculations run on your device (client-side) or statelessly. We do not store your financial inputs, PAN numbers, Aadhaar details, or other sensitive civic data on our servers.
If you use the Contact form, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you submit so we can reply. Those submissions are stored on our servers and are only used to respond to your enquiry. Do not send passwords, OTP codes, Aadhaar/PAN numbers, or other sensitive IDs through the contact form.
We may collect standard usage data such as:
- Browser type and version
- Time zone setting and approximate location
- Operating system and platform
- Pages visited and time spent on those pages
- Aggregate guide engagement counts (views / likes), without tying them to your name or email
2. Cookies, Analytics, and Ads
We use cookies and similar technologies. Analytics (Google Analytics 4) and advertising (Adsterra) load only after you click Accept on our cookie banner. Until then, Google Consent Mode keeps analytics storage denied, and we do not show ad units. If you Decline, we remember that choice locally so we do not keep asking, and we do not load GA4 or ad tags.
GA4 is provided by Google. Adsterra is a third-party ad network. Both may set their own cookies after consent. See their privacy policies for how those services process data. You can clear site data in your browser to reset consent and stop third-party tags until you accept again.
Contact messages and guide stats may be retained on our server while the site is operated, so we can reply to you and improve popular guides. We do not sell personal contact details.

Our website may include links to third-party websites, plug-ins, and applications (such as official government portals like incometax.gov.in). Clicking those links may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements.
