Fix EPF tasks in the right order
Most claim failures start with incomplete KYC or a UAN that does not match your Aadhaar name. Activate or log in first, fix KYC and bank details next, then raise a withdrawal or track an existing claim. If you changed employers without merging accounts, use the merge guide before you withdraw so money is not left behind in an old UAN.
Nomination and date-of-birth corrections look minor until a claim is rejected. Update those while you still have employer help. Use the PF calculator when you want a rough corpus estimate for retirement planning, then return to the Member Passbook for the official balance.
Every guide here links to the EPFO or UMANG path that matches the task. Keep your UAN, Aadhaar-linked mobile, and bank passbook ready before you start so OTP and seeding steps do not block you mid-form. When a claim is rejected, read the reason code and fix KYC before you reapply.
